What Is It?

                            I am a never-ending spring feeding

abundant creativity.  I nurture every flowering

ideal.  I can uphold vision to those who have lost

their sight.  Although I am powerful, I am also

restrained;  thus I can metamorphose into various

            forms.

I am the catalyst that transforms imagination

into action.  I am that very force that drives

stream waters from mountain ponds striving in search

of oceans.  When confronted, I can only be subdued

for a short time;  one can dam up a river, but I

ultimately find an arbor!  I am the spark

            that results from inspiration...

                                                    Who am I?
